Job Summary: Seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to provide prompt technical assistance. Resolve hardware, software, and network issues, document solutions, and escalate complex problems. Deliver clear guidance, maintain knowledge base, and contribute to process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for technical support via various channels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues, escalate when needed.
- Assist with user setup, permissions, and access.
- Document and track issues, update users.
- Install, configure, and update software.
- Stay updated on tech trends and updates.
- Contribute to enhancing help desk efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven Help Desk experience.
- Familiarity with Windows, Office Suite, basic networking.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, security basics.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A+ or Network+ certification a plus.
- Mac OS, Linux, mobile experience desirable.
